GTech managed provincial and state lotteries in the USA as well as national lotteries in Latin America, Caribbean, Australia and Europe. In 2015 GTech acquired IGT for an amount of $6.4 billion and the name GTech was dropped in favor of IGT. After finalising the merger the company name became International Game Technology PLC.
