The entire company adopted the Bally name in 2006 and in 2014, Scientific Games acquired the company for $3.3 billion. In 1999 Bally released Thrillions, a wide-area progressive jackpot system part of a marketing strategy that would enable the company to focus more on revenue-participation versus the sale of its video gaming terminals to land-based casinos. The first game combined many of the world’s best known and loved comic characters starting with Betty Boop, Popeye, and Blondie. This was also the period in which EVO VIDEO and EVO 3 platform were developed in partnership with Microgaming.

Today, Bally Technologies focuses on both the land based and online casino gaming industry. The Bally brand has brought excitement to generations by using its expertise to create games that boast cutting-edge technology, excitement, and can be enjoyed at the biggest licenses around the globe.

The main focus for this supplier is slots and will remain as such. While it offers a number of other games such as video poker, the overwhelming majority of its success comes from its innovative video slot creations that have a strong focus towards being interactive and highly entertaining. The Bally Technologies brand is familiar to virtually every slot enthusiast in the world and even more so to players who have had the opportunity to visit Las Vegas.

Bally remains a billion dollar company that has been responsible for some of the most popular land based slots, many of which eventually made their way online. The online slots are famous due to sharing the same trademarks as its land-based equivalents. The games can be enjoyed across multiple paylines with several bonus features including wild symbols, multipliers, free spins, and jackpots.

While Bally Technologies has released some of the most detailed real-world video slots, only a handful have been ported to online platforms. Classic favorites include the award winning Titanic, a video slot based on the 1997 film starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. Other noteworthy video slots include King of Pop as well as Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’, inspired by Michael Jacksons musical and dance talents. A more recently released Bally Technologies hit was Pawn Stars, a branded video slot inspired by the successful USA Television show, a series based on a pawn broker shop in Las Vegas-style. Pawn Stars is also one of the few Bally Technologies slots that have been transformed into an online version.

The companies online portfolio features only a limited version of its slots, and those that are have been restructured for online play include mostly basic 5 reel versions featuring an array of win-enhancing bonus rounds. Bally Technologies is more about land-based casinos, similar to others like IGT and Novomatic. Its games became well-known around about 1979 when the companies presence in Vegas began to take heed, and since that period, Bally has managed to carve out a reputation for its trustworthiness as a software provider. This reputation only increased when the company entered and the restructured its games for online play in 2013, and by 2014 some of Bally Technology games were mobile ready.

By 2014, Bally made the shift to increase its exposure by converting many of its games to HTML5 format thereby making them available for all major tablets and phones. Bally releases new games simultaneously across desktop, Mac, and mobile while exciting titles include Michael Jackson King Of Pop, Havana Cubana, Lucky Tree, Cirque Du Soleil Kooza, Cash Spin, Clue Spinning Detectives, Cash Wizard and Vegas Hits.

Bally created some to the best and biggest slot titles in the casino industry and continues to hold a place in the heart of many who have visited Las Vegas or any other casino for that matter. Its range of games are designed for players needs in mind, and all games cater for both casual and highroller players.

Bally likes to keep the same pattern when it comes to feature displays. Therefore, this allows players to enjoy new games in the same fashion as their most favorite and while features are consistent, all games are all created with high-quality visuals, audio and convey the extra benefit of nostalgia. The benefits of enjoying Bally games include years of experience which means they know what they are doing, and for many, this is what is looked for.
