Light Casino

Since obtaining its license from the Malta Gaming Authority in December 2018, Light Casino has been spreading its rays to global proportions. Stretching beyond Europe and reaching the keen players of Canada, this online casino moves fast. Now you may be wondering what the story is behind the name, and really, I couldn’t tell you. What I do know is that Light Casino is designed for portable players with a specifically built browser-based platform. You won’t find a sportsbook here, it’s purely game-based gambling, but they’re certainly not short on variety.

The Highlights

• Light Casino hosts quality games by Yggdrasil, Evolution and many more
• The site welcomes Canadian players as well as CAD
• Light Casino accepts deposits and withdrawals from secure services like Trustly and Skrill as well as MasterCard and Visa
• There’s a generous welcome bonus for new players

Making your first deposit can be a very profitable move at Light Casino. All new players have the opportunity to cash out an additional 100% of their first deposit up to C$750. They’ll also get the opportunity to try their luck with 200 Free Spins to be used on casino games for an additional potential cash out boost.

And it’s not just great news for the newly arrived, Light Casino also respects recurring customers. Aside from the Welcome Bonus, Light Casino keeps players well rewarded with a 50% Weekly Reload bonus (up to 50 free spins) and a 50% Weekend Reload bonus.

The cherry on top of the cake is this online casino’s VIP package, which comes with benefits that are nothing to sneeze at. With a personal manager, relaxed limits, financial privileges and additional bonuses and promotions, being a Light Casino VIP makes you a bit of a baller.

Because Light Casino is a late addition to the online casino party, they had the benefit of looking about at all the competition and incorporating what worked best into a single offering. The result is a neat selection across slots, live casino, jackpot and tournaments. So unless you’re hoping to place a bet on the footy, you’re pretty certain to find everything you need on this online gaming site.

The site’s website promises a myriad of exciting entertainment designed to tickle even the most discerning of tastebuds. That means it caters for those looking for mesmerizing slot animations, the opportunity for a royal flush with online poker, opting for black or red with roulette, shooting for 21 on blackjack, or employing your latest strategy on video poker.

Many of the slot machines hosted by Light Casino also offer progressive jackpot, catering for players who are interested in landing much larger winnings.

The game quality is also exceptionally high, as the site works with all the big names out there including Wazdan, Relax, Nolimit City, Red Rake, Yggdrasil, Pragmatic Play, QuickSpin, Tom Horn, Betsoft, Evolution Gaming, Play’n Go, and Microgaming.

Their live casino offering was particularly thrilling. It’s designed for players who are looking to max out on the casino experience without having to leave their living room. You’ll be able to engage in several table games manned by a personal casino host. This is also particularly practical because you’ll be able to ask your host questions about gameplay.

You’d be right to be cautious about placing your hard earned Canadian Dollars into the hands of a new site. But because Light Casino belongs to a larger gaming group and has a legitimate license from a reputable country, feel free to relax into safe hands and put your mind at ease.

The notion of high security is further compounded when you find out that the online casino also accepts all the major payment methods for the convenience of its players. This cuts across everything from bank transfers to e-wallets, so you’re sure to find a method that complements your set up and personal preferences. From Neteller, VISA and MasterCard, to Trustly and Skrill, you won’t find yourself short on options at Light Casino.

And what about withdrawals times and limits? This is always the critical part, after all playing for money is all about the potential gains. Everyone’s priority is always how soon they can get their hands on their cash. We get this. Upon a little investigation I discovered that on average, Light Casino will process your winnings within 24 hours. This seems to be the consensus across player testimonials also, though a few strongly encouraged other players to verify all their information accurately upon sign up, as this is the main sticking point that could potentially hold up your withdrawals. So all seems fairly standard and above board here also.

There’s not much dislike in this department either. In fact these days it’s pretty tough to find online casinos that fall flat when it comes to customer service. Light Casino keeps up with the best of them, offering players a 24 hour daily customer support service. For its Canadian players this takes the form of Live Chat, email or a browse through their FAQs. It’s comforting to know that assistance is a mere few clicks away, and for these reasons Light Casino gets top marks in the help sector.

In terms of hitting all the right points, Light Casino makes things pretty difficult if you want to be critical. But if I had to be that person that puts a downer on things, I would point out that in my opinion their website could definitely use some work. This is not necessarily a slur on their set up or functionality, it actually works just fine. However, the look and design feels is a little off. It lacks the buzz you usually get with online casinos and I struggle to understand the correlation between the casino’s name and their actual presence. But if you don’t care about aesthetics then you’re golden, because as far I’m concerned, Light Casino hits every single other spot. From the wide variety of games, to the generous bonuses and solid customer support — we’re on to a winner.
