888 Casino Wins EGR Award for Operator of the Year

888Casino has won the EGR Award for Operator of the Year, beating stiff competition to claim the top spot in the ‘online gaming Oscars’.

888 Casino’s fiercest competitors included Betsson, Flutter, GVC Holdings, Kindred, LeoVegas, The Stars Group and Play Ojo.

Indeed, while Play Ojo was highly commended by the judging panel, it was 888 Casino that took home the top prize.

“We were impressed by the clarity of the 888 Casino message,” the judges said. “The company has created a genuinely differentiated product and the impact it has had on every new market it has launched in is tangible and eye-opening.”

At a time when the online casino industry is facing great uncertainty, 888 Casino strove to create opportunities in new markets, while making sure its players felt safe and secure playing there.

The casino caters to all kinds of players, from slot fans, to sports bettors, to poker players to bingo enthusiasts.

Players can enjoy generous bonuses and promotional offers tailored to their playing habits. The casino is also well known for its exclusive VIP programme that extends to 777 Casino and 888 Games.

The 888 Casino brand has also benefitted from the introduction of a brand-new online gaming platform named Orbit. Orbit, which is 2-3 times faster than the competition and can be immediately deployed in new markets, features quick-click functionality, instant loading, and browser-based gaming.

Players can enjoy browser-based play on PC and Mac, with powerful Android and iOS apps for mobile gaming options.

In 2019, 888 Casino also ramped up its production of casino games, with more than 300 games expected to have been launched by the end of the year.

The EGR Operator Awards are considered to be the gold standard in the online gaming industry.

Organised by EGR Global (eGaming Review), the world’s leading online gaming B2B publisher and membership networking group, the awards honor B2C operators for setting the standard in egaming excellence across a number of categories, ranging from customer service to social responsibility.
