Buran Casino

Coming to the online casino market as a newcomer is getting harder and harder these days. And that starts with the name. Just ask Buran Casino! They had to go out of this world to come up with a good name and called on the first space shuttle developed by the Russian space program as their namesake.

Buran translates to snow storm and that is exactly what we like – being taken by storm (maybe not a snow storm but who’s counting?).

Operating with a casino license from Curacao, Buran Casino tries to make its mark on the battle field that is the online casino market. We have taken a closer look and tell you in our review whether this casino is reaching for the stars or if it’s D.O.A. So read on and find out everything about Buran!

The welcome bonus at Buran is rather classically styled. You can get a match up bonus up to around $750 on your first deposit and will also activate 200 free spins that will be delivered to you in installments of 20 over your first 10 days at the casino. Unfortunately, Buran doesn’t offer Canadian Dollars as an accepted currency, but you can still register and play from Canada. The only disadvantage is that all the bonus amounts and winnings are stated in Euros and you’ll have to grapple with conversion rates. The free spins are granted in the Microgaming Slot Jungle Jim El Dorado . A fairly popular game that’ll bring a lot of excitement to your first week and a half at Buran Casino.

Tournaments

If you’re looking for a casino with plenty of things to do, you’ve come to the right place. At Buran, you’ll have monthly provider tournaments, monthly races and every week there’s a tournament in one chosen slot game. The prizes are all paid out in loyalty points and as a Canadian player, you want to be careful with the providers of the games that participate in the tournaments. Because sometimes, those providers will not be available in Canada. If that is the case, you shouldn’t fret too much though, since the slots and providers rotate every time and if you miss out on one tournament, the next one is right around the corner.

VIP program

The loyalty points that you can snag up in the tournament will jump start your rise through the VIP ranks. And before you know it, you’ll have made your way from a Cadet to a Marshall and can enjoy some perks, such as higher monthly withdrawal limits, your personal account manager and better cashback offers.

Bonus offers

Speaking of cashback offers. The number of regular bonuses and deals at Buran is insane! You have weekly reload bonuses for extra cash or free spins, as well as cashback offers for the casino or live casino that you can freely choose from.

If you’re looking for a vast game selection brought to you by some of the best providers in the game, look no further. At Buran, you can filter the games by categories and providers and the casino also offers a search bar, in case you already know exactly what you’re looking for. Once you have your own account, you can save your favorites in an extra category and can get right back to them on your next visit with one click of the mouse. You’ve got a whole bunch of slots, table games and a live casino that offers most of the games you want to find in a casino, so it won’t get boring at Buran anytime soon.

According to Buran, you can play more than 1,600 games at the casino and while the selection might be a little smaller for Canadian players with some of the providers not being able to offer their games to us, you’re still left with quite the selection. You can play slots by Microgaming, Play’n GO, Yggdrasil, Red Tiger, Pragmatic and Push, guaranteeing you a gaming experience that you’re unlikely to forget in a hurry. You can enjoy yourself in classics, such as Book of Dead or Jurassic Park, or try some newer fare, like Penguin City. Whatever tickles your fancy, we’re sure you’ll find the right game for you in Buran Casino’s lobby.

The table games selection offers a nice mix of different roulette variations and card game tables where you can enjoy a round of Poker, Blackjack or Baccarat. You’ll find European and American variations of Roulette, the notable difference being the added double zero and therefore the slightly higher house edge in the American version. The selection of card games is heavily tilted on favor of Poker, but you can still find a couple of tables for Blackjack and Baccarat each. In the live casino, you’ll only see a very small selection of games, but it still offers everything you could want. With Evolution Gaming being the main provider in this section of the casino, you can also count on a high quality.

There is an extra tab in the games lobby just for jackpot games and while Microgaming’s biggest success Mega Moolah is notably absent, there’s still a lot of games to choose from. Most of the slots are a little less-known, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t give you a nice payout. If you want to see, if your reels are really hot, you should try one of EGT’s selection of sizzling games, with Super Hot, Supreme Hot and Ultimate Hot leading the way. For progressive slots, look no further than our Vikings from Yggdrasil who bring you two slots with five progressive jackpots each. Grab your detective’s hat and pipe for Holmes and the Stolen Stones or join the plucky Ozwin on his hunt for the next big win in the aptly named Ozwin’s Jackpots.

Buran Casino doesn’t exactly go out of its way to offer a huge amount of payment methods, but the basics are there. You can deposit and withdraw using your normal bank account, credit cards, Interac or different e-wallets. For you privacy lovers, there’s also the option to make deposits with the prepaid voucher Paysafecard. We would have liked to see at least one of the hugely popular options among Canadian players, but you can use neither ecoPayz, nor Instadebit. You can make deposits and withdraw as little as $15, but you have to be aware that you’ll have to deposit at least $30 if you want to claim any bonus. Withdrawal requests will be processed and approved by the casino in 24 hours and you have to consider a monthly withdrawal limit of approximately $15,000 unless you already climbed up on the VIP ladder.

If you want to withdraw winnings from your free spins, you’ll have to wager those 40 times before you can request a withdrawal. Buran Casino is a little more lenient when it comes to the deposit bonus, as you have to wager this one “only” 30 times. There is a list of games that’ll put stones in your way on the quest to wager your bonuses as they contribute only a small percentage or nothing at all, so you should make sure to check out the list in the bonus conditions before you get cracking. If you ever claim a no deposit bonus at Buran, you should be aware that withdrawals are capped at $120 even after you fulfilled the wagering requirements.

The customer support at Buran is available every day around the clock in a live chat, on the telephone and via email. You can also check the FAQ section before you contact the support agents, but to them your issue doesn’t matter. They act fast, friendly and competently. You can always rest assured that most basic queries will be answered in a matter of minutes and even if you come across a more complicated issue, which tends to happen when it concerns payments issues, the support agents will always have your back.

If you’re looking to play a quick round of slots on the go or on your sofa, Buran has you covered. Most of the games, if not all, can be played easily in your mobile browser. You don’t have to download an app and all you need is a stable internet connection and your smartphone or tablet. If any game you want to play is not available on mobile, it’s usually on the provider. But if there is a mobile version, Buran makes sure to make it available on the mobile-friendly version of their website.

Overall, the sky is the limit for Buran Casino. There’re plenty of tournaments to pass the time and if you’re ever short on funds, there’s surely some kind of bonus on offer. The website design is slick and easy to navigate, and the game selection doesn’t have to cower in front of any competitor. We definitely recommend giving Buran a try!
