Casinia Casino

Take a tour with us into an online casino that has almost everything. At Casinia, you’ll find throws of games and a plethora of promotions. You can become a VIP and play a wild round of cards in the live casino. And best of all; the casino accepts players from Canada. You won’t have to grapple with unfavorable conversion rates and wondering exactly what your bonuses and wins will actually come down to.

We still had a good look at the casino and will tell you all about the welcome bonus, the games selection and the payments options in our review below. Read on to find out if you should still give Casinia a chance or whether you’d be better off giving this one a wide berth.

To get you started, Casinia offers you a fairly standard match up bonus on your first deposit up to C$500. In order to activate the bonus, you’ll have to deposit at least $20. That’ll cost you about $30 just to be on the safe side. But since the casino doesn’t even accept Canadian Dollars, you’ll have to arrange all your dealings in Euros anyway and the amounts will be converted by your bank automatically.

Together with the 100% bonus, you’ll also be granted a big package of 200 free spins. The first 20 of those will be added to your account upon your first deposit, while the other 180 free spins will be credited in installments of 20 free spins over the next 9 days until you have been granted all 200 free spins.

It is a little weird that you have to contact the customer service to obtain the bonus, since every other online casino under the sun will just activate your welcome bonus upon registration, but that might have to do with the awkward fact that Canadian Dollars are a currency non grata at Casinia.

The game or games for which the free spins are credited are also a mystery since it is not stated anywhere on the website. But since we don’t give up so easily, we asked a customer service representative and could unveil this little secret: the free spins will be granted in Microgaming’s vampire drama Immortal Romance. There you have it. We don’t know why it’s so hard to put that information on the website.

Monthly Tournaments

Every month, Casinia holds a tournament that features one of their top providers. You can’t win cold hard cash, but you can snag up a pretty bunch of loyalty points that’ll help you on your quest to become the V-iest of all pees!

You’ll have to watch out for the chosen provider of the month though, since it can easily be one that is not offered in Canada. Casinia offers a whole bunch of NetEnt games for example and since that is a very popular provider in Europe where the casino has its main operations, you might have to sit out one tournament or two.

VIP program

Speaking of loyalty points; snagging those up in one of the various promotions and tournaments at Casinia will grant you access to one of five VIP levels with ever increasing perks.

Once you made it to the Diamond level, you not only have the best exchange rate for your loyalty points into cold hard cash. But you’ll also have your very own customer manager, higher monthly withdrawals, better cashback offers and a whole bunch of other sweet advantages.

Sportsbook

For the athletically inclined among you, Casinia offers a whole other rabbit hole to go down. The sportsbook section boasts Live Betting, Virtual Sports and a whole plethora of sports and leagues to choose from.

You can even get special bonuses for the sportsbook section at Casinia, so make sure to check it out, if you’re into that.

At Casinia, you have a vast selection of online slots, table games, jackpot slots and a live casino. The selection is so wide that it’ll be hard to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Luckily, you can filter the games by sections, such as new, live casino, slots, card games and roulette tables, as well as by provider. If you have registered an account, you can even collect your favorites in their own little section. In case that you already know what you’re looking for, there is of course a search bar where you can just type in the name of the game.

Slot Games

The slots selection at Casinia is something to boast about for sure. You have big providers, such as Play’n GO, Microgaming and Yggdrasil, but smaller studios such as Pragmatic and Push Gaming also get their chance to shine.

With Yggdrasil, you’ll want to let out the Nordic warrior in you with one of their Viking-themed slots. Don’t miss out on their trilogy, consisting of Vikings go Wild, Vikings go Berzerk and the newest addition Vikings go to Hell.

Microgaming brings the classics, with TV- and movie-themed slots, such as Game of Thrones, Battlestar Galactica and Jurassic World. The British provider also brings you the slot that is used for the welcome bonus; Immortal Romance.

If you want to take the more scenic route, you can try some of Push Gaming’s offerings, such as Golden Farm or Blaze of Ra.

It is a little strange that with all the Microgaming games, some of their more popular jackpots, such as Mega Moolah or Major Millions are nowhere to be found in the selection at Casinia.

But never fear, dear player. Yggdrasil has got your back and throws its fun progressive slot Holmes and the Stolen Stones into the mix to pick up the slack. Throw on your detective’s hat and join a surprisingly buff Sherlock and Doctor Watson on their quest to retrieve some…well…some stolen stones. The slot comes with FIVE progressive jackpots, so you’ll have plenty of chances to bag yourself a nice win.

Classic Casino Games

You’ll find most of the table games under the tab for cards in the casino lobby, but the vast selection of roulette tables apparently needed its own tab. Players can choose from all kinds of different variations of the popular game of chance and there’s also a nice array of Poker, Blackjack and Baccarat tables for your enjoyment.

The selection at the live casino is a little smaller, but at least you can count on the quality, since most of the games are provided by the live casino pros of Evolution Gaming.

Casinia offers a decent number of payment options for your deposits and withdrawals. You get to choose between credit cards Visa or Mastercard, Interac, a variety of e-wallets, such as Skrill and Neteller and you can also use the traditional bank transfer. It is a shame that none of the methods that us Canadian players like so much are offered. You won’t be able to deposit using ecoPayz or iDebit.

You can deposit and withdraw amounts starting at $20, which would amount to approximately $30 and the casino takes a fee of about 10% of your withdrawal amount, which seems a little outdated to us. Until you climb the VIP ladder, your monthly withdrawal limit is set at $10,000, which is about $15,000, so you should be set with even high wins. Not a jackpot though.

Casinia takes about 24 hours to asses and approve withdrawals and depending on your chosen withdrawal method, the funds should be in your account shortly after that.

If you want to withdraw any winnings garnered from your welcome bonus, or any bonus at Casinia for that matter, you’ll have to wager them 30 times in only 10 days first.

Any winnings for which the wagering requirements haven’t been fulfilled in this time frame will be removed from your account and are lost forever. You should also be aware that there is a huge number of games that either contribute very little to these requirements or not at all. Suffice to say that table and live casino games don’t contribute whatsoever. But there’s also quite the list of slots and jackpot games that don’t count.

You can find the full list in the bonus conditions on Casinia’s website, so make sure to check this one out before you start spinning your heart out for nothing.

If you ever receive a no deposit bonus at Casinia, you should know that the maximum withdrawal from any such bonus is capped at €80, which is about $120, so you might want to think long and hard about the value of such bonus offers. Feel free to use them for a fun and free game round, but don’t expect to get rich off those.

You can get in touch with the customer service representatives at Casinia every day around the clock in a live chat or via email.

As we could test out ourselves, the agents are quick, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. They aim to please, as should be the case, since the customer is king, as we all know.

There is also a FAQ section on the website, but this one only offers answers to the most basic questions you can imagine and it’s a good thing that you can always direct your questions at a real person as well.

Casinia is by no means a bad online casino. Far from it. You have a huge game selection, a decent welcome bonus and you are spoilt for choice when it comes to promotions and tournaments.

Casinia seems to have a lot of great qualities to offer its players! Go ahead and sign up today!
