Cookie Casino

Cookie Casino is operated by N1 Interactive Ltd. This experienced group is behind about 14 other online casinos (some of them themed and some of them regular) like SlotWolf, Avalon78, Paradise Casino, and Bob Casino. Cookie Casino is probably the most striking of the bunch. That’s because this Malta licensed online casino is rocking a theme that will either make you hungry or turn your stomach. Launched in 2019, the site is likely to appeal to a younger generation of players, but let’s see if anyone should be accepting a slice at all.

Cookie Casino – The Highlights

• 30-level VIP club
• Vast selection of games
• Accepts CAD and Interac

Cookie Casino offers new players the opportunity to pick up bonuses on their first and second deposits. Here’s how they roll out the red carpet:

• First deposit bonus of a 100% cash match up to C$100 with 120 Free Spins on top. The spins can only be used on Book of Dead, or on The Golden Owl of Athena if the former is unavailable. You’ll receive 30 every day from activation until the 120 are used up. You need to type the word CAKE in the appropriate field on the deposit page in order to activate the bonus. If you choose to go down the bonus route, remember that the maximum bet with an active bonus is C$6.50.
• Second deposit bonus of 50% cash match up to C$ 100 with 50 Free Spins on top. This works pretty much exactly the same as the previous bonus, except that the word SWEET is the trigger word this time. The limits are exactly the same too. In fact, the only difference is that the Free Spins are to be used on the Legacy of Dead slot, or Spring Tails if this is unavailable.

A couple other things you should know:

• To claim either bonus you’ll need to deposit a minimum of C$25.
• All bonus money and Free Spins are subject to 40 x wagering requirements.
• Winnings from any bonus can never exceed C$10,000.

Cookie Casino has what you’d call a handsome game library that covers almost everything you could require of an online casino. In fact, the only things missing are a sportsbook and a few more niche games like Keno. But they do offer a huge range of over 2,000 games across Slots, Jackpots and Table Games (like Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat). They even have a superstar Live Casino supported by a combination of Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play Live.

The games in each section are top quality, thanks to Cookie Casino joining forces with some of the best providers available. You’ll find all the latest entertainment from:

Amatic, Authentic Gaming, Betsoft Gaming, BigTimeGaming, Booming Games, ELK, Endorphina, Evolution, Fantasma, Fugaso, iSoftBet, Kalamba, NetEnt, Nolimit City, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, Push Gaming, Quickspin, Red Tiger Gaming, Reelplay, Relax Gaming, Sthlmgaming, Thunderkick, Wazdan, and Yggdrasil.

This casino is so sweet you’re likely to get a tooth ache — either that or indigestion. As the name not so subtly suggests, baked goods and sweet treats are the deal of the day (every day at this online casino). The site is littered with animated characters in the form of cookies, gingerbread men, slices of cake, and even sweetly simpering tea cups. The color palette is all pastels and cheerful hues. In a phrase, “it’s candy land for adults”.

From a functionality perspective, things are up to scratch. All the games, except Live Casino games, can be played in demo mode. The search function is slightly rudimentary but you can search by provider as well as by keyword. The navigation is spot on, and I found my way around the site really easily. Whether or not you like the look of this site, you have to admire the level of effort that went into the user design and commitment to branding.

30 levels of crusty, delicious wins. I’m sorry you had to read that sentence but it’s an exact extract from Cookie Casino’s VIP page. Each of the 30 levels is named after a different dessert. Players are automatically enrolled in the VIP program as soon as they make their first deposit. Climbing the levels is a matter of collecting Comp Point (CPs), and each level offers a series of escalating rewards.

It’s important to note that any rewards derived from this sugar-laden system are subject to a wagering requirements. Any bonus money has to be wagered at 1 x, and any Free Spins have to be wagered at 3 x.

So how easy is it to collect CPs? Players will get 1 CP for every C$15. You can exchange your CPs for money, and this is calculated at an exchange rate of C$1.25 CAD for 100 CPs.

Climbing through the levels can be fun, but it will also be tiring. At the absolute top of the mountain is a reward of C$100,000, but you’ll need a massive 5,000,000 CP to get there.

The site is pretty transparent about how they handle all that precious player cash. They state that the aim is to process all payments within 12 hours. That’s not super-fast (with many other online casinos aiming for 6 hours) but it’s not terrible either.

If you want to try and nail down a faster time then make sure all the necessary documents are uploaded and ready to be verified. Using the same payment method for both deposits and withdrawals will also speed things up.

There are no additional fees to be paid, neither on deposits nor withdrawals. If you choose to use Visa, Maestro or Interac you’ll need to wait 1 to 3 working days for your withdrawal. But all other methods on offer are instant.

The site’s support options revolve around Live Chat, which is offered 24 hours a day, everyday. That means Canadian players will have access to help whenever they need it. Alternatively, the team at Cookie Casino can be reached by Email on [email protected]. There’s no phone option, but this isn’t exactly unexpected.

What is a surprise, however, is that there’s no FAQ on site. I always find this an odd choice by online casinos. A simple Q and A section is incredibly helpful as it usually addresses a large chunk of most player queries off the bat. Hopefully this is something that’s in the works and will be phased in soon.

If I set aside the aggressively sweet theme of the site, it would be fair to say that Cookie Casino will meet the needs of the majority of online players. It’s only sports fans that will find nothing to entertain them here. There are over 2,000 games to pick and choose from, and the site functions to an excellent standard. When it comes to payment methods there’s a lot on offer, and the withdrawal turn around times are better than acceptable. The minimum deposits are low, and most payment methods won’t incur any fees. Customer support is available around the clock, but it’s missing the option of FAQs, which are really useful for self serving on generic queries. So, what’s the consensus? I would advise all non-sports betting players to give this online casino a try — but you might be impeded by your intolerance to saccharine sweetness.
