GemSlots Casino

Quick, think of something valuable! Diamonds? Yeah, you’re not wrong, but there’s already too many online casinos that have some diamond in their name…something else! Ah, gems, kinda like diamonds but not really and a whole lot of slots also implement those. Perfect! We imagine this MUST have been the thought process behind the name GemSlots Casino.

As it is, you have a casino that conveys glitz and a little glamour from the get-go. You have luscious promotions and a treasure chamber full of video slots (including a bunch with gems).

We’ve taken our magnifying glass and a stroll through GemSlots and have all the inside scoop about everything from the welcome bonus to the customer service. If you want in on this juicy gossip, you can read all about it in our review below.

GemSlots Casino wants you to feel welcome and start exploring their games. And for you to be able to so that, you’ll need a bit of bankroll. Luckily, the welcome package can help you out with that, since you can snatch yourself up to $500 extra as well as 50 free spins over your first three deposits. So, how does this work? It’s fairly easy. Just start depositing at GemSlots and grab the following bonuses:

• On your first deposit, you’ll get a 100% bonus up to $250 + 50 free spins
• With your second deposit, you’ll be awarded a 50% bonus up to $100 and
• Your third deposit grants you a 100% bonus up to $150

Unfortunately, GemSlots keeps the game for the free spins a surprise, so you’ll just have to find out by claiming the casino bonus.

Wednesday Wildfire

GemSlots Casino doesn’t stop at the welcome bonus. They know that most new players want something more and they deliver. Every Wednesday, they offer a fiery tailor-made bonus to some of their newest players. So, you’ll want to keep an eye on your inbox to find out if you’re one of the lucky few that are part of this exclusive club.

Seasonal Promotions

It’s not just the newbies that get rewarded either. There’s a bunch of promotions that everyone can enjoy. Even the seasoned player (pun intended). Back in summer there were the Summer Sizzles for example, when players could grab a plethora of free spins and now that we’re nearing Halloween, there’s Trick or Treat – an all-month long promotion getting you ready for the spookiest of holidays.

VIP Club

If you really keep at it and become a loyal player, that’s when you’re really in for a treat at GemSlots casino. You collect VIP points for every $16 that you wager in the casino. And that is how you can make your way from a bronze VIP all the way up to the prestigious diamond VIP. The perks are surely worth it, since you can get access to VIP customer support, birthday presents, anniversary bonuses and personalized gifts.

The games selection at GemSlots Casino is something to behold. Obviously, you have your video slots, your table games and your live casino, but there’s so much more! There’s even a category for casual games, that offers slots that are considered to be particularly fun. You can try a lot of the games for free in demo mode and you can filter them by categories as well as providers. Once you have an account at GemSlots, you’ll even be able to save your all-time favorites in their own category, so you can always access them with one click of the mouse.

At GemSlots, you can peruse through vast amounts of slots by Microgaming, NetEnt and many more. You can have fun with the branded Microgaming slots such as Halloween, Tomb Raider and Game of Thones. But now you can also play some of the biggest hits the industry has to offer. Some of NetEnt’s highlights include Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst and the Fairytale Trilogy. If you’re looking for slots from one of the smaller studios, GemSlots has got you covered as well. Why not give some ELK Studio games a chance? Electric Sam and Wild Toro have amassed quite a few fans already. We don’t think you’ll be bored anytime soon with this selection.

What table games are there at GemSlots Casino?

The bulk of the table games at GemSlots is provided by Microgaming again, with some other providers such as NetEnt and 1×2 Gaming throwing in some games as well. Most of the variations are either blackjack or roulette games, but there are some dice tables and even one or two poker tables thrown in for good measure. The biggest part of the live casino is provided by Extreme Live Gaming. Here you can enjoy the massively popular Golden Ball Roulette, as well as other variations and blackjack and baccarat tables. NetEnt also has a small selection of roulette and blackjack tables on offer, so everybody should be able to find the right table to tickle their fancy.

Are there progressive jackpots at GemSlots Casino?

You would think that the opening of the Canadian market to NetEnt would vastly increase the selection of jackpot games as well. But here we have to disappoint you a little. There’s only one NetEnt jackpot game on offer, but boy is it a big one. Divine Fortune is one of the biggest and most popular jackpot slots on the market. It’s gorgeous, exciting and it pays big. So, make sure that you give this one a try, now that you can! Half of the offered jackpots are provided by Microgaming, but even so, their biggest hit Mega Moolah is nowhere in sight. You’ll have to make do with classics, such as King Cashalot and Treasure Nile. Eyecon is another provider that throws some games in the ring. It’s mostly cutesy fare, such as Fluffy Favorites and it’s sequels.

For your banking needs, GemSlots offers a bunch of options for you to choose from. You can make deposits with everything from credit cards, to e-wallets. Canadian players will be happy to learn that Interac and ecoPayz is among the options for both deposits and withdrawals. You can also make deposits with Paysafecard, the popular prepaid voucher that will reliably protect your anonymity.

You can make deposits starting from as little as $10 with some methods, while others, such as ecoPayz require you to deposit at least $20. The withdrawal limits are similar, but you have to keep in mind that all withdrawals are subject to a processing fee of $2.50 per transaction. Seeing as the period until you have your money in your account can vary between 3 days and up to two weeks if you include pending and processing periods, that additional fee seems a bit cynical.

If you want to withdraw any winnings from your bonuses, you’ll have to wager it 50 times first. That is an awfully tall order which means that you’ll have to wager $2,500 if you claimed a $50 bonus. You should also keep in mind that the withdrawals of any winnings accumulated from a claimed bonus are capped at five times the initial bonus. In case of free spins, it looks even more bleak since those withdrawals are capped at $20.
In general, you’ll want to think long and hard about even claiming a bonus, since you can also play without it and then any winnings would be instantly yours and you’d be able to withdraw them without a hitch. If you do decide to claim a bonus, have a good look at the conditions and also check out the games that won’t contribute to the wagering requirements, because there’s a whole list of them.

You can reach the customer support agents at GemSlots Casino all day every day via a live chat and email. Our contacts have been friendly and competent, as you would expect it in an online casino that wants to keep their customers happy. If you’re not one for personal interaction, you could also find answers to the most common questions in a rather extensive FAQ section. Like that you’ll never have to worry, and all your issues will be resolved in a matter of minutes.

GemSlots Casino is breaking our hearts a little bit. While the welcome offer and the games selection had us more than hopeful, we soured a bit on the experience when we saw the sky-high wagering requirements and the fees and processing times for withdrawals. If you’re looking for a pristine games selection and some nice promotions, we say, go for it. Just be a little careful with the bonuses you claim.
