Music Hall Casino

Music Hall Casino is another product from Microgaming, having its entire casino lobby powered the gaming provider. It’s been around since 2001, so it has several years of experience to go with it. It’s licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, the top gambling regulator in Canada. This already tells us that this is a CA optimized online casino, especially since they accept CAD. In addition, it’s also certified by eCogra (a third party regulator) that it is safe and secure for players.

Down below, we evaluate whether Music Hall Casino is worth its salt – and whether it’s managed to keep up with the fast changing times. The review will go over banking, customer support, games, bonuses and the loyalty program available.

The welcome offer at Music Hall Casino is straightforward. The bonus is activated with the first deposit you make at the online casino. That’s only after you’ve downloaded the software on mobile or desktop to sign up. Music Hall is offering players 25% up to $500. This means that, if you deposit $2000, the casino will give you a bonus worth 25% of your deposit. That’s $500. In total, that leaves you with $2500 to spin on slots and make bets at tables with. $500 is the absolute maximum that Music Hall will give you. So, more realistically, if you deposit $100, the casino will give you $25 as a bonus to play with $125. This bonus seems to fall a little short for us, compared to a casino like Sloty, for example, which offers up to $1500 plus $10 in free cash. Plus, there’s no free spins in the welcome bonus. Make sure to read up on wagering requirements before making a deposit at the casino.

Casino Rewards Loyalty Program

The Casino Rewards loyalty program is a system shared among a number of online casinos. The more you play and bet, the higher your Status Level will get with time. There are 6 Status Levels in total to achieve. The higher you go, the more perks you’ll receive in return for being a loyal customer with Music Hall Casino. Here’s just a snapshot into what life as a VIP player is like:

• Bigger bonuses
• More promotions
• Priority customer support
• Birthday gifts
• Exclusive access to certain games
• Personal VIP hosts
• VIP Lucky Jackpot
• Time of Your Life Sweepstakes

Life is sweet when you’re a VIP. Every $1 that you wager at the casino translates to 100 loyalty points in the Casino Rewards program. As you accumulate these points, you’ll level up. Each level has a different point requirement to enter. The last few stages are Invite Only. Reserved for only the truly deserving.

In total, Music Hall Casino has around 550 games for its players to access and have a ton of fun on. The casino has a varied selection of slots and video poker options, although not so much for table games. The real down-side of this online casino for us is that it has no live casino. Seriously, that’s a bit of a blow since live dealer games can be a substantial factor of anyone’s gaming experience. Since Music Hall is a Microgaming powered casino, players won’t soon get bored playing online slot games – that’s for sure. However, it is what limits this casino on live casino and table gaming. To find out more about what Music Hall has to offer its customers (and potentially, you) keep on scrolling down below for more.

Music Hall Casino Slots

The best thing about Microgaming is that, not only does it create its own games, but it’s also the operator for a lot of other independent gaming providers. The list includes providers like Rabcat, JFTW, Foxium and Starcraft Studios. Together, these providers pull together a massive collection of games that amount to close to 550. Players will be able to take a spin on their favorites like Amazing Aztecs, Diamond Empire, Dream Date, 108 Heroes, Ariana and Wacky Panda. The list is obviously much longer than this – but you can find out for yourself by heading over to the online casino. One thing we definitely appreciated about this casino is that it keeps its lobby up to date with all the latest releases. Music Hall might look old, but at least its games aren’t.

Table Games

Obviously, since it is a Microgaming powered casino, Music Hall only has table games from Microgaming. This is somewhat limiting already since Microgaming is not as prolific in the table gaming department as it is in the slot gaming department. Music Hall has mostly a variety of roulette and blackjack. Players will be able to access table games like Classic Blackjack Gold, American Roulette Gold, European Roulette and more. There’s also a range of video poker games available, also provided by Microgaming. These poker games are: aces & eights, aces & faces, jacks or better, and deuces wild. All the usual classics are there, and any video poker fan will be well served by this lobby selection.

Progressive Jackpot Slots

In total there are 16 progressive jackpot slots available at this casino. That’s a veerryy healthy amount of progressives that players can hit up whenever they feel like it. At any given time, there are millions of CAD which can be won from one jackpot slot, but then collectively as well. Of course – Microgaming, along with a few other providers, creates some of the biggest jackpot slots around that cash out mostly frequently. Slots like Mega Moolah, Major Millions, King Cashalot and Treasure Nile are well known for being big slots that cash out in thousands or millions. People have become millionaires overnight thanks to slots like Mega Moolah, and Mega Moolah Isis. Music Hall Casino is so confident that players can become winners by playing there, that it has a Winner’s List. Just like casinos like Captain Cooks, Music Hall likes to show off clients whose gaming experience has really paid off.

Ok, first off – Music Hall Casino has two different wagering requirements. One only applies to the first deposit bonus, and the other applies to all the other bonuses you might receive from the casino. The wagering applied to all other bonuses is 30x. A normal and decent amount. BUT – and it’s a big but – the wagering for the first deposit bonus is a whopping 60x. This means that, if you were to get the $500 bonus in return for a deposit of $2000, your wagering would be $30,000. Before you complete this playthrough necessity, you cannot withdraw your bonus money or winnings made from bonus money from your account. If you do not complete the WR within the stipulated time-frame, your bonus and winnings are forfeit to the casino. Different games can help you out with this wagering requirement to different degrees. This is how it works for Music Hall Casino:

• Slots and Parlor Games count 100% towards wagering requirements
• Table Poker, Casino War and Sic Bo count 50% towards wagering requirements
• All Blackjacks except Classic Blackjack, Craps and Baccarat count 10% towards wagering requirements
• All Video Pokers except All Aces Video Poker, Caribbean Draw Poker, Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker Gold, Triple Action Hold’em Bonus Poker Gold, Classic Blackjack and all Roulettes count 2% towards wagering requirements
• All Aces Video Poker does not count towards wagering

So your best bet is definitely to stick with slot games until wagering is completed.

Is Music Hall Casino a rip off?

Music Hall Casino is regulated by the third body company, eCogra. This means that every year, the casino is audited to ensure that it is hosting games which are safe and secure to play. The official eCogra document at Music Hall dates back recently, and it claims a payout percentage average of 96.09% overall for all the games. That’s a really good percentage when considering that table games are thrown into the mix. It is also the industry standard. According to the report, this is how the casino stands:

Players can rest assured that Music Hall is completely safe and basically not ripping you off.

When it comes to the variety of payment methods available, it seems like Music Hall Casino has the basics covered. This is what payments are available at the casino:

• Entropay
• Paysafecard
• Credit cards (Visa/Mastercard)
• Skrill
• ecoPayz
• Instadebit

From this list, by far the most relevant methods of payment for Canadian players are ecoPayz and Instadebit. These two banking options are used widely by major financial institutions in Canada. They are efficient, secure and extremely easy to use. So big plus for Music Hall Casino for having these two payments on offer. The maximum withdrawal limit at Music Hall is a generous $4000 per week. We say generous because it’s not every online casino that has this high of a withdrawal limit even for the average player. The minimum deposit required is $20, this is also the minimum needed to trigger the welcome bonus.

How long does Music Hall Casino take to process payments?

On average, the withdrawal period from Music Hall is around 72 hours depending on if you’re using e-wallets, credit cards or bank transfers. The latter definitely takes the longest, sometimes taking up to 5 working days.

When it comes to customer support, Music Hall Casino seems to have it covered as well. This is super important to CasinoTrust, as well as seasoned players, since customer care is a very telling sign of whether a casino is worth a second look or not. Music Hall offers the two most important options: live chat and email. Another extremely promising factor is that customer support is open 24/7. You’d think this is an obvious thing that all casinos would have, but it’s not. Having CS available all day every day is great for CA players, since those pesky time-zone differences won’t get in the way. The email address for Music Hall is [email protected]. Depending on how much time you have and how urgently you need help, you can choose to send them an instant message or the modern day version of snail mail. The choice is yours! The Music Hall customer care team seem to be helpful and efficient enough at what they do. Always remember to check the FAQ section before asking for help – it spares everyone a lot of time and energy.

No – Music Hall really hits it home when certain elements. More specifically, when it comes to banking, customer support and even progressive jackpot collections. These are some of the most crucial pillars of excellent online casino gaming, so we give it kudos for that. However – there are quite a few other areas in which it falls short. Music Hall has a wagering requirement of 60x on its welcome bonus, it has a limited table gaming selection, and no live casino games. It also has a somewhat poor match-up welcome bonus of 25%. Plus, you have to download the software just to be able to sign up. This is what keeps us back from giving Music Hall a higher score. Still, you can be the judge for yourself. Music Hall does present itself as a smashing choice for Canadian players who are especially into Microgaming slots. Head over there to find out if it’s the online casino choice for you!
