Hyper Casino

Hyper Casino made its debut at the beginning of 2019. But with newness comes an eagerness to please, and that’s often where you’ll find the best opportunities.

With a name like Hyper Casino you would be right to hope for big things. A name like that conjures up images of speed, mania and blurred colors rushing past. But is there any substance behind Hyper’s hype? That’s what we’re here to analyze. So if you’re a Canada-based individual with an interest in online casinos, you’d do well to find out if this one is worth your time.

The Highlights:

• Hyper Casino welcomes Canadian players
• CAD is one of the currencies you can play with — so no conversions necessary
• Hyper Casino accepts ecoPayz (among others) as a payment method
• The site uses Evolution Gaming as its live game provider

In terms of nice kickbacks and first deposit bonuses, you’ll get a decent head start as a newcomer to Hyper Casino. As well as first deposit treats, there are also a string of other incentives that pop up along the way, rewarding you for continued loyal membership. It’s nice to know that bonuses don’t evaporate entirely once you’ve made your first deposit. Here are the details:

After signing up with a Hyper Casino account, you’ll be able to claim the two-tier welcome bonus, worth up to C$300. This isn’t super straightforward though, because it’s divided into two:

• First deposit – 100% match up to C$100
• Second deposit – 50% match up to C$200

You can qualify for the bonus by depositing as little as C$10 but you will have to contend with wagering requirements of 45x.

Beyond the welcome bonus you’ll be able to benefit from other special promotions. These occur monthly in the form of challenges and seasonal offers. For example, the Hyper Challenge puts you in with the chance to win extra bonus money at reduced wagering requirements. Others take the form of Slot of the Month, Hyper Fridays and a monthly tournament. So while they are certainly incentives, it’s not necessarily a given that you’ll be able to benefit from them.

In the age of absolute online casino competition, game selection matters more than ever. Hyper Casino keeps up with the best of them with a decent selection of varied entertainment from the top developers out there. You’ll find game collections from:

• Microgaming
• NetEnt
• Evolution Gaming
• Blueprint Gaming
• Amatic
• SG Gaming
• High5Games

The live casino section is entirely supported by Evolution Gamings’s software, arguably one of the strongest market leaders.

So it doesn’t really matter what your preferences are, you’ll find something to tickle your fancy. From online slots, live board games, baccarat, roulette and blackjack, live casino games and video poker, the choice is yours. Aside from the live board games and live roulette, you can also play each game in demo mode without even having an account. I love this feature because it effectively lets you try before you buy.

Less exciting but equally important is your ability to transact easily with your online casino.

Hyper Casino supports multiple well-known payment systems as well as modern encryption technology, so you can action your deposits and withdrawals safely and confidently. Simply select the one that works for you when you create your account. Hyper Casino accepts credit cards, debit cards and e-wallets, and in most cases you’ll be able to start playing instantly. Here are the payment methods to choose from:

1. ecoPayz
2. Visa/MasterCard
3. Skrill/Neteller
4. Trustly
5. Zimpler
6. SOFORT

Bank transfers take the longest to process, but this is fairly standard. Withdrawals are always completely free, up to a daily limit of C$5,000, leaving you with 100% of your winnings.

This is a bit of a cheeky one, because the site doesn’t have a reputation for lengthy withdrawal processes but they aren’t the fastest out there either. This can be a little frustrating if you need your cash in a hurry. There have also been a few reports on stall tactics for first time withdrawals, and some slightly onerous requirements when it comes to proving your identity and address.

The wagering requirements for Hyper’s welcome bonus is 45x the bonus amount. This means if you were given C$300 in bonus money, you would have to wager C$13,500 before being able to withdraw your winnings.

The minimum deposit to trigger the welcome bonus is C$10. You will have 30 days from when the bonus amount is deposited in your account to fulfill the wagering. This is pretty standard, so nothing to be surprised about. But it’s always good to keep in mind.

This is not to say that customer support doesn’t exist. It does and they’re as responsive as you could expect. The problem here lies with the team’s available hours.

Since Hyper Casino is headquartered in central Europe, their customer support team is also based there. That means they work from the hours of 08:00 to 01:00 CET. If you consider Canada’s multiple time-zones you’ll come to the conclusion that some Canadian players may have a hard time finding a convenient moment to touch base with Hyper Casino’s team. I guess this depends on your track record for seeking out customer support.

Their FAQs are pretty comprehensive so look through them first and then make up your mind.

A quick scan of this review will tell you that the pros definitely outweigh the cons. As one of the new kids on the Canadian block, they have a lot to compete with but I feel like they’re doing a decent job.

The site’s easy navigation and simplistic design make it simple to use, without drowning you in crazy flashing images. It also means that you can play most games on your phone, so you’re ready to place your bets from virtually anywhere.

The bonuses and promotions, while definitely there, could be more plentiful but that’s an easy fix and I’m sure more will be added with time. You might have some trouble getting in touch with customer support, but the well thought out procedures mean you probably won’t need to anyway. Overall, Hyper Casino gets a fairly enthusiastic thumbs up.
