Scandibet Casino

The welcome bonus is a big part of most players’ online casino journey. So I was pretty excited when I read the following in ScandiBet’s ‘About’ section:

“You have come to the right place if you love free spins and bonuses. We love bonuses as well and you will be met with plenty of generous offers in addition to our welcome package if you choose to join our Viking community!”

But here’s something that’s likely to make your head spin. ScandiBet Casino currently offers zero welcome bonuses to new players. That’s nada, zip, niente. Not a single dollar or free spin. I searched every corner of this site to try and locate an offer of some kind. Finally, the FAQ page settled the issue. It clearly states that:

“Currently, there are no deposit bonuses available. We will get them up and running as soon as possible. In the meantime, feel free to contact our customer support to see if we can arrange something for you.”

I can only hope that they truly do intend to introduce some form of offer soon, because without any other promotions or some kind of cashback offer in place, many players will be turned off.

What ScandiBet lacks in perks, it makes up for in the quality of its entertainment. Regardless of what your preferences are, you’ll find more than enough on-site to help you pass a few pleasant hours. Here’s a list of the providers that ScandiBet has partnered up with to provide their range of games. It’s a way smaller list than you get with most online casinos, but the providers are among the best in the industry:

• NetEnt
• Yggdrasil
• iSoftBet
• Microgaming
• Quickspin
• Evolution Gaming
• NYX

What casino games are there at ScandiBet Casino?

ScandiBet is home to over 1,000 Slots, all courtesy of the providers listed above. There’s also a little section of about 16 Jackpot games. You’ll have to use the search bar to get to these as they don’t have their own dedicated area. Live Casino is powered by Evolution Gaming and consists of 16 different games across Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat. There are also some more novel games like Dream Catcher, Deal or No Deal and Football Studio.

Bizarrely, beyond those available to play live, the site doesn’t cater to any Table Games at all. It’s true that these basic games are declining in popularity as people gradually shift toward a preference for real time playing, but there’s usually always a small courtesy offering.

Is there a sportsbook at ScandiBet Casino?

Yes, the sportsbook can be used to make pre-game bets. There is also a section for making live bets. It’s powered by SBTech and sets out a huge number of odds and betting markets. Here are just some of the sports you can place bets on:

• Football
• Tennis
• Ice Hockey
• Handball
• Volleyball
• eSports
• Cricket
• American Football
• Baseball
• Rugby
• MMA
• Golf
• Boxing
• Cycling

Those looking for a break from sports can even place bets on political events. It’s also worth noting that the site only lists the most popular events and matches that are happening each day. So if there’s a particular event you’d like to place a bet on that appears unavailable, players can reach out via Live Chat and ask for it to be added. Of course this might not be possible, and Live Chat could be unavailable in the timeframe required (see below).

Considering the site doesn’t have a welcome bonus, you probably won’t be surprised to learn that it doesn’t have a loyalty program either. This is something I expect the site to rectify in the near future, as players deserve a solid program that offers them value in exchange for their repeat visits.

As we mentioned at the start of this review, ScandiBet Casino makes very bold claims about its exceptionally speedy payment processes. The reason for this comes down to their partnership with Trustly Pay N Play®, which allows for instant deposits and withdrawals. This is a payment method that’s only been recently introduced to Canada, having previously only been available in Scandinavian countries. The site also uses Trustly to verify player details, which means it’s not necessary to send in documents and wait for a team to review and approve them. However, if you don’t wish to use Trustly, you can also make use of other payment options, including Interac, iDebit and MuchBetter.

How to make a deposit at ScandiBet Casino

There’s no need for lengthy sign ups or log ins when you’re ready to start playing. All you need to do is visit the site, click the ‘Deposit’ button, and select your currency and bank. The payment confirmation is also the account creation, so you’re literally up and running in a minute. If you’re re-visiting the site, you click on the ‘Fetch Balance’ button and follow the steps to pick up where you left off.

How to withdraw money at ScandiBet Casino

Withdrawals are processed within 5 minutes. Additionally, most banks that work with Trustly are also set up to offer instant pay outs, so you could be looking at a withdrawal turnaround of under 10 minutes. You really couldn’t ask for more than that!

Downer time. ScandiBet’s Live Chat line is only open between 08:30 and 00:15 CET every day. That’s going to create some roadblocks for Canadian players who just want to ask a few quick questions. Their next port of call is to send an Email to [email protected] and hope for a quick reply. The FAQ section is fine but a little difficult to search through if you’re looking for a specific question. This could be the one experience that’s definitely not ‘lightning fast’.

Despite the lack of welcome bonus, promotions and loyalty program, I couldn’t help but like this site. In fact, the only thing I would definitely change is the Live Chat function to be available 24 hours a day. The draw of almost immediate withdrawals will be strong for many players, and is probably why the site gets away with missing a few features. All that being said, I would recommend this online casino to anyone who wants a speedy casino experience with no fancy frills.
