Deco Diamonds Slot Review - Win up to 2323 x your bet!

Just For The Win, a Microgaming company, is bringing another smash hit to your screens: the Deco Diamonds slot. Players have learnt to expect good stuff from JFTW (Just for the Win), after successful slot releases like Goldwyn’s Fairies and Lucky Links. And we’re guessing this time round, it’s not going to be any different.

Deco Diamonds is a classic-style slot, with 5 reels and 9 paylines. It’s of high volatility and has two special features: a re-spin feature and a bonus wheel. An impressive factor of this slot is that it has a maximum win of 2323.5x your original stake. When basing it on the max bet of $50, this can be as much as a max payout of $116,175. Not bad at all. The RTP for Deco Diamonds is just at the average mark with 96.02%. There’s a lot to like about this slot. If you want to find out more about it, read the full Deco Diamonds slot review down below.

The Re-Spins can be triggered over and over again indefinitely as long as you keep landing Deco Diamonds symbols
Even if you don’t land enough Deco Diamonds symbols to trigger a high-level of the Bonus Wheel, you can still level-up from the Bonus Wheel itself.
From the Bonus Wheel alone, you can win 1000x your original stake. But the huge 2323.5x maximum win is even better than this.

As with most classic slots, the number of special features is limited
Although the Re-spins are a nice enough feature, we’re sure some players would have preferred some Free Spin rounds as well

Deco Diamonds - Theme and Background

We’d pretty much given up on the idea of a nice looking classic slot, even the ones produced today. Let’s face it, as good as the gameplay and payouts are, slots like Betsoft’s Jumbo Joker are hardly exciting to look at. But it seems like JFTW is out to prove us wrong. Because this, ladies and gentlemen, is a good looking classic slot.

I’m sure most of you have heard of the ‘art deco’ movement. It’s mostly associated with the height of 1930s fashion and architecture. Simple, clean shapes which somehow still looked opulent and going crazy with geometry is what this age was all about. To this day, the Chrysler building and the Empire State Building are considered two of the greatest tributes to art deco architecture.

And it’s this kind of theme that JFTW is going with here for Deco Diamonds. The shiny materials, the clean-cut design of the symbols and the overall fabulous impression of this slot scream ‘art deco’ (as does the title of the slot). We’re glad JFTW went down this route for a classic slot, it actually turned out pretty decent looking.

Deco Diamonds - Gameplay

As mentioned above, Deco Diamonds only has the two special features – nothing overly complicated when it comes to gameplay. Deco Diamonds is a 3×5 grid, with 3 rows and 5 reels. It has no Scatter Symbols – just bonus symbols called ‘Deco Diamonds’ symbols.

Re-Spin

If you land 2, 3 or 4 Deco Diamonds symbols on the reels, you’ll automatically be awarded one Re-Spin. During the Re-Spin, the reels with the Deco Diamonds will lock in place while the other reels spin. This gives the player a higher chance of landing big win combos with the Deco Diamonds symbols.

If you land even one more Deco Diamonds symbol during the Re-Spin, it’ll trigger another additional Re-Spin. This will keep on happening as long as you keep on landing Deco Diamonds symbols. If no more of them hit the reels, the Re-Spin round will stop and return to the main game. The amount of Re-Spins you can trigger is indefinite.

Bonus Wheel

3, 4 or 5 Deco Diamonds symbols landing in the main game will trigger the bonus wheel special feature. There are three different levels of the Bonus Wheel:

3 Deco Diamonds symbols = Silver level
4 Deco Diamonds symbols = Gold Level
5 Deco Diamonds symbols = Diamond Level

The difference between these levels is in the amount that you can win from each round. But don’t lose hope if you trigger a lower level, you can still level-up within the Bonus Wheel! You just have to cross your fingers and hope that the arrow stops on the Level-Up tile. So, if you’re on Silver you’re promoted to Gold. If you’re on Gold you’re promoted to Diamond.

The wheel will turn automatically, and depending on where the it stops you’ll be awarded the corresponding prize. The maximum you can win is at Diamond level – 1000x your original bet. An attractive sum, if we do say so ourselves.

Deco Diamonds - Payouts and Wagering Limits

As you can see from the above paytable, the payouts for this slot are actually pretty good. The 100x payouts for the higher paying symbols are especially great, and can land the player some seriously high wins. Of course, the maximum win of this slot is 2323.5x the original stake you’re playing at. That’s a truly generous amount.

The RTP for Deco Diamonds is 96.02% overall, but specifically 52.97% for the main game, 23.14% for the Bonus Wheel and 19.92% for the Re-Spin feature. Meaning, if you do manage to trigger these features, they’re pretty likely to payout a little something. The hit frequency for the game is 15.3%. A respectable percentage, although not the highest we’ve seen.

The coin values are 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.25, 0.5 and 1. But, due to the bet levels, i.e. playing with either 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 coins at a go, your stake can vary greatly. The least amount you can bet is $0.10 (0.01 x 10), and the most you can bet is $50 (1 x 50).

Deco Diamonds - Final Verdict

Final Verdict

Deco Diamonds

88%

Overall, this is one classic slot we wouldn’t mind taking for a spin anyday. Not only does it look good and play smoothly, it also has engaging gameplay. Of course, the maximum win amount doesn’t look half bad either.
