Diamond Strike - Theme and Background

The graphics for Diamond Strike hark back to the classic video slot games that came before. With the symbols all representing classic images like bells and cherries, they have a modern shine to them that looks pretty darn great. Each image is crisp and sharp and looks fantastic, but it is still obviously influenced by what came before and it really creates a really good dynamic that helps the atmosphere. The lack of classic sounds to go with the retro feel does harm the atmosphere of the game slightly, but the quality of the visuals ensures that it offers a good experience.

The background for Diamond Strike shows what looks like the background to an old video slot. It adds to the atmosphere that the visuals helped to create and ensures that players feel like they are taking a step back in time, without losing some of the more modern features that are on offer in modern time.

Diamond Strike - Gameplay

Diamond Strike offers a classic experience in both visuals and gameplay. With scatter symbols, wild symbols and free spins it has all of the usual suspects that make up a video slot game. The first feature that you’re likely to come across is the free spins feature.

Free Spins

The free spins feature is triggered when you manage to get 3 scatter symbols on the reels at any time. The scatter symbols appear on the first, third and fifth reels only.

Once you manage to get 3 scatter symbols at any time you will be instantly awarded 8 free spins. As soon as the free spins feature is triggered more wild symbols will be added to the reels to create more winning lines.

During the free spins mode the scatter symbols can be collected again to retrigger the free spins mode with an extra 8 free spins. While an extra 8 free spins are added more wilds won’t be added to the reels if the free spins is retriggered.

Jackpot Instant Win

If you manage to get 3 of the golden jackpot symbols anywhere on the reels you will trigger the Jackpot Instant Win mode. You will instantly be taken to the instant win game. You will be tasked with picking diamond symbols to reveal the jackpot symbol behind it.

Once you manage to match 3 symbols you will win whatever that symbol is worth. The mini jackpot is worth 10 times your stake. The minor jackpot is worth 30 times your stake. The major jackpot is worth 100 times your stake. The mega jackpot is worth 1000 times your stake.

Diamond Strike - Payouts and Wagering Limits

The maximum wager for Diamond Strike is $75. While this is a good amount it isn’t as high as some of the other games on the market. This means that the game may not appeal to players who want to play in a super high stakes game, but it should offer enough for most players. The minimum wager of $0.15 means that any player is able to access the game no matter how low their budget it. This also gives them the ability to work their way up to a higher stakes game too.

The maximum payout on Diamond Strike is up to 1000 times your total stake, available through the Jackpot Instant Wins mode. This combined with the astronomical RTP of 97.02% means that there is a big chance of walking away from Diamond Strike with a healthy win in your pocket.

Diamond Strike - Final Verdict

Final Verdict

Diamond Strike

80%

The graphics for Diamond Strike are excellent. Each symbol offers a view into retro gaming without offering poor quality. They are sharp and look excellent. This helps to create an atmosphere of retro video slots without compromising on quality. An addition of music would help the atmosphere but in general the game has an excellent aesthetic.

The gameplay in Diamond Strike is very good. The instant win jackpot adds an extra layer to the base game and the addition of extra wilds to the free spins mode means that it gives players more chances to win than on the standard reels. This means that the game is engaging in the long term and ensures that players have a reason to keep coming back.
