Stumpy McDoodles

These only make an appearance during the base game, which adds a salve to the wound of dealing with relatively low value symbols. You’ll know when the feature is triggered because Stumpy will jig his way across the reels followed by a pot of gold that will explode to reveal a multiplier at random that will be applied to any win. On top of this, 3 to 8 Wilds will also get added to random reel positions. We aren’t talking big multiplier numbers here, it starts at 2 x and climbs to 5 x, but considering it’s a feature that triggers randomly on any base game spin, there isn’t much to complain about.

For many players it’s all about the free games, and this time it’s no exception since it’s where the slot’s biggest wins can be accessed. To get going you’ll need to land 3 Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 in order to receive 5 free spins. Do this and the game will kick off rather dramatically as the interface changes from day to night.

5 spins isn’t very many and I was disappointed by the measly reward. However, this feature does also include multiple bonuses that add up the more you play, such as multiplier coins, shifting wilds, and wild coins.

This feature is triggered if two scatters appear on the reels. The reel that could have landed a third scatter (but didn’t) will re-spin to give the player a second chance at landing all three and thus activating the free spins bonus game. While the re-spin is in action, all other reels will be locked in place.

Boost your gameplay bet by 50% in exchange for increased multiplier values in both the base game and Free Spins. All multiplier values will be doubled and the weights are adjusted. Deciding on whether or not to Foxify your game will come down to how much you value what 50% more cash buys you, and how often you engage multipliers in the first place. I advise going for a few tests spins before making your decision.

This is essentially a new title for the much seen Buy feature. Stumpy offer players the opportunity to access free games at an accelerated rate. If you’re willing to shell out the (completely non-negotiable and rather steep) 50 x your bet price tag, then you’ll be immediately awarded 5 Free Spins. But remember, 5 spins isn’t a lot of time to try and recoup value, so make sure you give this careful consideration.
