Svenbet Casino

Founded in 2018 and licensed in the Caribbean paradise of Curaçao, my first impression of Svenbet Casino is that it’s a massively overachieving online casino. By this I mean that it tries to do everything possible in the world of online gambling. Whether it’s sports, slots, live casino, BetGames TV, instant games or anything in the neighborhood, Svenbet is scooping it all up. Now, this could be amazing, making it the ultimate one-stop-shop, or it could be a mismanaged disaster. Read on to find out where Svenbet Casino finds itself on my personal scale of acceptability.

Svenbet Casino – The Highlights

• Excellent welcome bonus for Interac users
• Exciting promotions and ongoing bonuses
• All kinds of casino and betting games covered

This is a little different from the usual because Svenbet’s introductory bonus comes with the immediate requirement that the first player deposit is made through Interac. Players signing up to the casino for the first time can take advantage of a 125% cash match up to C$1,500. Sounds awesome right? Here’s what you need to know before grabbing that bonus cash:

• The C$25 is the minimum deposit required to take advantage of the promo. That’s higher than usual and will definitely price out some players.
• The bonus cash you receive once activating the offer can only be used on slots.
• Wagering requirements are set at 40 x and can only be met on Play’n GO slots. This is an unusual and potentially highly frustrating restriction.
• Players have 30 days to meet the requirements or they lose all generated winnings.
• The maximum bet allowed during wagering is C$5. Although this will slow your progress somewhat, it’s a fairly common requirement.

Players who like to take advantage of bonus offers should check out Svenbet’s ‘Promotions’ page to feast their eyes on the huge array of ongoing bonuses that include:

• Reload Casino Bonus
• Casino Cashback Bonus
• First Deposit Sportsbook Bonus
• Play’n GO Reload Bonus
• Welcome Live Casino Bonus

…and so many more. I would advise all players to read through the terms and conditions closely before agreeing to anything, as there have been some player complaints about unpaid bonus winnings and the like. I can’t confirm the truth of the complaints, but I can advise caution and knowing what you’re entitled to before you proceed with any offer.

This online casino splits its attention between both casino and sports. A smart strategy designed to attract a wide cross-section of players. Here’s what you can expect in each division.

Sports

Svenbet’s sportsbook is a sport-loving player’s paradise. Whether the preference is betting pre-match or the more cuthroat live game bets, you can do it all at Svenbet. The site is designed well enough to allow players to navigate the process of placing bets quickly and accurately without frustration. This is thanks to a lot of search and filter options that make sifting through the mass of information a breeze.

Football enthusiasts will find themselves well catered for, with the site covering big competitions like the UEFA Europa League, Bundesliga, Eliteserien, Primera Division, Allsvenskan, and Premier League. But if football isn’t your cup of tea then that’s fine also. Svenbet covers all major events across a vast number of sports including…

and much more.

In fact, we dare you to find any major sport that isn’t covered by Svenbet.

Casino

Svenbet hosts over 1,300 casino games made up of slots, classic slots, scratch games, card games, table games, and video poker. These aren’t represented in equal numbers, and slots definitely fill the majority of the quota. There’s a ‘New’ button which lets you browse the most recently added titles.

If you’re looking for Table Games, you might encounter a strange labelling decision by Svenbet, who created both a ‘table game’ and ‘cards’ section. This divides up what’s on offer in a slightly impractical way — but never mind. Some of the many games available are Blackjack Single Deck, Realistic Roulette, Blackjack Double Exposure 3 Hand, Dragon Tiger, and European Roulette.

You’ll also find a small selection of scratch cards and instant games, and a fairly decent choice of video poker. The site even has dedicated sections for keno and tombala. Oddly, these are given their own labeled sections in the primary navigation bar. This is made even odder by the fact that each page hosts just two games and are displayed in quite a distorted way.

Most major software providers work with Svenbet, and players will have access to games from the likes of NetEnt, Playson, Play’n GO, NextGen, Pragmatic Play, Edict, Tom Horn, Habanero, Endorphina, Gameart, Mr Slotty, Genii, Booming Games, iSoftbet, Betsoft, Wazdan, Multislot, EGT, Red Tiger, Realistic Games, and Spinomenal.

Players can step into the virtual world of online casino by interacting with live dealers at any time of the day. Offering over 30 games hosted by live croupiers through a combination of NetEnt, Evolution, Ezugi, Lucky Streak, and BetConstruct players can engage in real time across roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker, and even keno.

BetGames TV

And if you really can’t get enough of that real time experience then you’ll probably really enjoy BetGame TV. This is a combination of sports betting, live games, casino and lotteries. Players can try their luck on well-known games by betting on the outcomes as they’re revealed live.

This section is where I have to raise a potential red flag. Some players have reported unfair treatment by the online casino. The complaints surround a policy which states that players can’t win more than C$3,000 in one day. If you do win more, the online casino will not pay out anything exceeding this limit. That smells like some seriously unwarranted withholding of funds to me.

Wins that exceed C$10,000 are paid out in installments. This indicates the low revenue status of Svenbet, and could be a point of major irritation for high rolling players. The site doesn’t provide much information on its payment processes, stating only that withdrawals are processed within 72 hours.

In terms of the deposit and withdrawal options available, everything seems extremely standard. Besides Interac of course, layers can choose from Visa, MasterCard, Hipay, Skrill, Neteller, EcoPayz, PaySafeCard, Neosurf, Entropay, SoFort, GiroPay, iDeal, and Bank Transfer.

Support isn’t available 24 hours a day, and players must be satisfied with seeking help via Live Chat between 9:00 AM and 1:00 AM (CET). For obvious timezone reasons, this could be highly inconvenient for Canadian players. Players who aren’t after an instant reply can also reach out via Email. Svenbet also hosts an FAQ section, however this is quite limited and doesn’t include a search bar.

Svenbet hosts a vast selection of games that come from well-known providers. This includes a sportsbook and live casino. The entertainment selection is definitely nothing to complain about. However, Svenbet did give me some cause for concern. Firstly, players who don’t use Interac will miss out on the welcome bonus. There’s no VIP or loyalty program.

More seriously, I would warn most players to look into recent complaints before signing up to ensure that everything with the casino is still above board as there are some negative reviews floating about. Finally, I would say that the site is also probably unsuitable for players who like to wager large amounts of money due to restrictions on bigger withdrawals.
