Wixstars Casino

Let us invite you to a magical land of slots and cards today, as we have a look at the super slick Wixstars Casino.

With video slots from big providers such as Microgaming and Play’n GO, you know that you’re in for a treat. But we also looked at the welcome offer, the whole game selection, banking options available, and Wixstars Casino customer service. So, read on in our casino review and learn a little more about Wixstars.

As their ways of welcoming you to the family, Wixstars will double your first deposit up to C$300. But, that’s only if you’re a Canadian player – everyone else gets an average 100% up to C$200 bonus! That’s what we call the VIP treatment. Players in other countries will get an additional 100 free spins on top of their 100% bonus which can be activated with as little as $10. Since those free spins are offered in NetEnt’s Starburst though, this isn’t exactly possible for Canadian players. However, Wixstars Casino was brilliant enough to accommodate Canadian players! CasinoTrust players will get 50 free spins on Play’n GO’s Book of Dead. This is a great offer given that it’s on one of the highest paying slots ever! In order to activate this welcome bonus, you have to use the following

Bonus code: BOD50WIX

Otherwise, you will not be able to activate the bonus. For players with pockets that are not as deep, this bonus can be activated with as little as $20, though, granting you a total of $40 to play with.

VIP Club

There is not much to explore in the promotions department at Wixstars. But if you’re a loyal player, you can make the most of your casino experience by joining the VIP Club. There are six levels in the loyalty program, starting at VIP Bronze and going up all the way to a Prestige Membership. To ascend to a new VIP level, you’ll need to collect points, which you do by depositing and wagering in the casino games. Once you have enough points, you’ll level up, unlocking more and more benefits and rewards. Those range from faster payouts, over free spins on Sundays to all kinds of other perks. The last two levels are invitation only, so you know that you’ll get the real VIP treatment once you’re a member.

At Wixstars you get to choose from a wide array of video slots, table games and live casino games. You can filter the games by featured, new, video slots, classic, table games and scratch card and you also have an extra lobby for the live casino. It would have been nice to see more filter options, at the very least we would’ve loved to be able to filter for game providers. If you already have a specific game in mind though, you can find it in a hurry by using the handy search option.

Slot Games at Wixstars Casino

As per usual, the game selection is a bit more limited for Canadian players than for casino lovers in other countries. But at Wixstars, you at least have two industry front runners, with Microgaming and Play’n GO. Both have a fantastic selection of top-notch video slots that have been consistently popular with players all around the world. Standout titles from Play’n GO are undoubtedly Book of Dead, Grim Muerto and Fire Joker. While Microgaming offers hits such as Dragonz, Game of Thrones and Forbidden Throne. There are, however some notable absences, namely Bridesmaids, Tomb Raider and Jurassic World. Why those Microgaming blockbusters aren’t included will remain the secret of Wixstars (although it’s probably just a trademark issue, but hish…).

Table Games

You can find a small variety of table games in both, the casino games tab in the casino lobby and in the live casino itself. The choice is not overly big, but you have a couple of roulette and blackjack variations as well as some baccarat tables. You can even try hour hand at some three-card solitaire or joker poker. While this is certainly nothing to write home about, it gives you the possibility to try out some of the most popular casino table games by yourself or against a live dealer and what more can you ask from an online casino in that regard?

Progressive Games

It doesn’t speak for Wixstars that there is no extra tab for jackpot slots, making it super hard to get a hold of the couple games they do offer in that section. Since Microgaming does offer a variety of jackpot slots, you are covered. However, one of the most popular jackpots, Mega Moolah is nowhere to be found. Wixstars should really clean up their act in this regard and make it way easier to find the jackpots, otherwise people might just think that they don’t want their players to hit it big.

All the bonuses at Wixstars need to be wagered at least 35 times the deposit and bonus amount in 21 days, before you can request a withdrawal. If you have free spins on your account, you need to use those within a day after they have been credited. Please also keep in mind that there is a number of games that don’t contribute to these wagering requirements. There is a list on the Wixstars website that you should check out before you start playing. While wagering your bonus, you’re also limited to bets that don’t exceed $4 in total or $0.50 bet line.

Wixstars offers less than then payment methods and three of those are credit cards. You can make deposits and withdrawals with Visa, Mastercard and Maestro or even with the virtual credit card from Entropay, as well as with the the e-wallet Skrill. If you feel like a classic, you can also use wire transfer but that takes ages to process. Another little disappointment for Canadian players is the fact that there is no ecoPayz, iDebit or Interac. You can however use the famously anonymous Paysafecard to make deposits. The minimum deposit and withdrawal amount at Wixstars is $10. The maximum payout per month is $7,000 and for any withdrawal that is higher than $2,300 Wixstars has put in place additional verification processes.

You can reach out to the friendly customer service team at Wixstars on seven days a week from 06:00 GMT to 23:00 GMT. The agents can be contacted by email or in the live chat and there’s even a phone number that you can dial to talk to a real person. Wixstars believes in C.A.R.E. – Customers Are Really Everything and they show it in their efforts to always help you quickly with any query that you might have.

Wixstars is one of those modern casinos that doesn’t even try to be a jack of all trades. It concentrates on the basics, which are casino games and great usability. While we would have liked to see more promotions apart from the welcome bonus and an easier way to find jackpot games, we can’t deny that Wixstars knows their stuff. If you’re looking for a casino that can give you a comfortable gaming experience both on desktop and mobile, but don’t want to deal with too much fluff, Wixstars might be worth a look.
