Frank & Fred Casino

Frank & Fred Casino make a huge deal about being different from the rest. But we’ve all heard that before. In fact, the entire site is built around the intention to grab your attention and hold on tight – from the relaxed language to the neon-lit site.

The online casino is also promoting a unique weekly raffle and the opportunity to get your hands on tickets to lotteries that have the potential to turn you into a billionaire. Now there’s an enormous claim. Well, they’ve got my attention. Time to pick Frank & Fred Casino apart piece by piece, and see if they can stand up to the pressure.

Frank & Fred Casino – The Highlights

• High-value VIP club
• Weekly raffle with huge prize potential
• Low wagering requirements
• Accepts CAD and MuchBetter

Players ready to give this funky online casino a try can opt for first deposit welcome bonus of 100% up to C$100 plus 300 Free Spins doled out over 30 days. That’s a very attractive offer. In order to qualify you’ll need to make a deposit of at least C$20 – that’s it.

After activating the bonus you’ll get spins dropped into your account every 24 hours until the month is up. You can only use these spins on Starburst or Dead or Alive 2 (but both are excellent games). The only bummer is that winnings from Free Spins are also subject to 35 x wagering requirements and must be met within 3 days (that might be tricky). The wagering requirements on the bonus cash are also are set to 35 x, but you have 2 weeks to meet hit the target.

This online casino has made an effort to partner up with some well known providers, but not with as many you might think. The majority of the on-site entertainment comes from:

• NetEnt
• Play’n GO
• Quickspin
• Stakelogic
• PG Soft
• Push Gaming
• Relax
• Big Time Gaming
• Redrake

There are also several other studios that contribute the odd game or two, but these are all much smaller — and most likely not names you’d recognize.

Slots & Jackpots

This is probably where Frank & Fred shines the most. There are over 1,000 of the spinning reel games, but only a small percentage of these are jackpot games. Still, players have about 12 options to spin for a life-changing win on Mega Joker, Jackpot Raiders, Mega Fortune, Empire Fortune, Mega Moolah, Holmes and the Stolen Stones, Ozwin’s Jackpots, Dr Fortuno, Divine Fortune, Joke Millions, and Hall of Gods.

Live Casino

Every new casino is carving out some space for Live Casino. As online games go, live dealer entertainment is the fastest growing in popularity. Frank & Fred Casino are no exception, although they don’t have the most extensive selection I’ve seen. With just 14 games, players used to huge live libraries are unlikely to be impressed. But if numbers don’t matter to you, then you can interact with your dealer in real time across a few different versions of Roulette and Blackjack.

Table Games

There are 45 different table games to choose from. These are made up of an interesting mix across Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat. There are also several other games that might be less familiar like Keno, Mega Money, Grand Slam, and World Football. Again, this isn’t the biggest range of table games I’ve come across by a long shot, but there’s enough in there to keep things interesting.

Frank & Fred Casino has definitely poured a lot of time into developing a backstory. They created a personality for their casino, based around a brotherly bond with a frat house vibe. This definitely gives me the impression that they’re after the new wave of online players, and not the older generation raised on the tradition of land-based casinos.

These two hombres (obviously Frank and Fred) explain that they pretty much had to look out for themselves growing up. Working at the docks, driving a taxi at night. Through all this they apparently learned the value of hard work, loyalty and togetherness. The brothers eventually saved up enough cash to start their very own online casino, bringing with them all the important lessons they learned along the way. Oh brother, so much hype! However, beneath the theme, the site itself is well built and easy to use. The games can be searched by provider and tried out for free.

The VIP Club at Frank and Fred offers decent value, probably more so than a lot of its competition. Whenever you play at Frank & Fred you will climb the ladder, unlocking an even greater experience along the way. Win or lose – everyone is invited! The fancier your badge, the better your chances are to win. Each level comes with its own benefits:

• Gold level gets you a 25 x wagering requirement, 10 entries into the F&F Lottery, prioritized withdrawals, a bonus on every level up, and Super Spins.

• Black (highest) gets you a 10 x wagering requirement, 150 entries into the F&F Lottery, prioritized withdrawals, a bonus on every level up, Super Spins, account management, personalized VIP offers, and superior bonuses and gifts.

The Frank & Fred Lottery is a big part of the VIP Club. It’s a simple concept. Every week you play at Frank & Fred Casino you qualify to take part in the weekly draw for the chance to win real cash prizes. The lottery is live-streamed so you can follow the draw in real-time. Once a month the lottery is boosted with better prizes that can be actual gold nuggets, vacations, and exclusive watches. All you have to do is make at least one deposit to qualify for that week’s draw.

Frank & Fred Casino supports e-wallets, prepaid cards, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. The minimum deposit is C$20, and the processing time is instant. Keep in mind that there’s a 5% fee for Paysafecard transactions.

The minimum withdrawal amount is C$20, and no fees will be attached to the card or e-wallet transfers. Bank transfers, on the other hand, will be subject to additional transaction charges determined by the bank. The average processing time is around 72 hours, and the time required for your payment method to wire the cash needs to be factored in on top.

Frank & Fred support representatives can be reached via an Online Form, Email or Live Chat (this isn’t a 24 hour service). And of course Frank & Fred wouldn’t be true to their personas if they don’t embrace social media. The casino team can also be reached through Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. I noticed that aside from Live Chat it was really difficult to find the Email contact options, which might have been deliberately obscured to avoid excessive player contact.

Frank & Fred are definitely on a mission. They want to deliver a loyalty-led online casino to the new generation of online casino players. Of course, nothing to do with gambling is ever entirely altruistic, and as with all online casinos, there are a couple of drawbacks.

The lack of 24 hour customer support isn’t good news for Canadian players. The same goes for the slightly sparse live casino options (but hopefully these will get beefed up over time). On the plus side is an excellent 6-tier VIP program that offers wagering requirements as low as 10 x to the higher levels. The site also has a weekly and monthly live-streamed lottery that can be replayed. And don’t forget, all this comes from an MGA licensed casino, which means players are backed by serious regulations. Online casino fans – get ready to meet your two new favorite wingmen.
