Temple of Tut

Online gaming players are probably already familiar with Egyptian themed slots. The incredibly popular Book of Dead slot, for example, also has a similar theme related to exploration and the great mysteries of the ancient pyramids. Book of Dead is again largely inspired by the Novomatic slot, Book of Ra. You see where we’re going with this. And well, who came blame software providers for picking up the ancient Egypt strand of inspiration? Whether it’s from reading about the genius of the Egyptian people; or just from seeing the movie series ‘The Mummy’ – people clearly have some kind of deep fascination with this highly intelligent ancient civilization. The story behind Temple of Tut seems to revolve around three explorers: a female archaeologist, a male adventurer, and some evil guy. We say ‘evil’ based purely on an arbitrary observation that he has a monocle. If you have a monocle (and a bushy white mustache to boot), it’s a done deal that you’re the baddie of the operation. The Temple of Tut slot gives you the opportunity to join in on this crazy adventure! Collect scarabs, Eye of Horus symbols – and so much more – in your quest to eternal riches. You know what the Egyptians believed right? Rich in life, rich in death. Just remember to pack in the coffin with gold items and coins.

Just as expected of it, JFTW has produced another slot that forgoes the fancy special feature names. Instead, Temple of Tut focuses on some really great basic features that mesh together to provide players with those anticipated big wins. To be honest, this is actually better than having tons of features which are difficult to independently trigger. These special features are: Super Reels, Free Spins, and Free Spins Retrigger. If you want to find out more about each of the special features and how they work, check out the descriptions down below.

Another truly great feature of Temple of Tut is that the paylines work as ‘Win Both Ways’. The slot has 5 reels and 10 paylines. For the player, this means that you can get more out of a spin than normal reels. Since your chances of winning are basically doubled. Who doesn’t like hearing that kind of information? Temple of Tut has an RTP of 96.01%, a hit frequency of 18.92% and a Medium volatility rate. This means that the player is likely to experience a somewhat balanced small win vs. big win ratio. Overall, the statistics for this online slot seem legit – although the hit frequency is a bit on the lower side.
