Druids' Dream - Theme and Background
Druid’s Dream is the Xanax of the slot world. I actually entered demo mode and allowed the soothing soundtrack to relax me for a few minutes

The backstory concerns two Druid priests who decide to summon the spirit of the Wild Bear. It’s not entirely clear why they would want to engage with the savage spirit of a carnivorous beast, but who can ever truly know the mind of a Druid? The design is quite lovely, full of trees, wise forest creatures and intricate rune stones.
There are 4 low value rune stones in blue, green, yellow and red. The mid to high value symbols are made up of orange boulders, crude drums imprinted with bear paw prints, owls and white wolves. The white wolf is the most rewarding symbol giving you 1, 2.5 or 5 times your stake for 3, 4 or 5 on a winning payline. The Scatters are the Druids themselves but they only appear on the bottom of the wild stack on reel 2 or at the top of the wild symbols stack on reel 4 in the base game.

Even thought the game has three special features that are quite straightforward, Druids’ Dream has a way of making the gameplay seem confusing. That’s probably because each feature is dependent on the other, creating one large interlinking feature. That’s why it helps to get started already knowing what to expect.
Wild Charge
This feature involves a joint effort between the Wilds and the Scatters of the game. All you have to do is land Wild symbols on reel 2 or 4 plus 1 Scatter symbol. You’ll then effectively charge up the reels and win a re-spin with reels 2 and 4 fixed in place. Every charged wild symbol will give you a free re-spin. The scatter symbol and all wilds that triggered the Re-Spin feature will remain in position until the end of the feature.

And what’s a slot without a handful of free spins? In Druids’ Dream these are accessed once you land 2 Scatter symbols on reels 2 and 4. You’ll then kick things off with 6 Free Spins. All Wild symbols landing on reel 2 or 4 together with a Scatter symbol become charged, and each one of these will add on an extra Free Spin. Druids’ Dream is unlikely to ever become a cult classic, but it’s a nice diversion into a dreamy world for those who are looking for a low tempo escape.
